Our Story: The Vintage Inn at Veritas Estate Winery

Our journey to South Haven began at an entrepreneurs event in Milwaukee in 2019. Shortly thereafter, our first trip to Michigan blossomed into a shared love — not just for each other, but for this beautiful, welcoming region capable of producing world-class wines.

We decided to combine our distinct passions and professional backgrounds to create a place where we can both use our talents. With Chef Tim’s 30 years of acclaimed culinary experience and Dr. Sherry Seston’s background in farming and microbiology, the Vintage Inn at Veritas Estate Winery was born—a unique blend of a boutique bed and breakfast and working winery.

We believe Southwest Michigan holds a singular magic, which arises from Lake Michigan. The "big blue" blesses us not only with stunning dunes, beaches, and fishing, but also creates the unique microclimate essential for growing exceptional wine grapes.

For us, meals are more than just eating; they are a vital time to gather, connect, and celebrate the people and the place around us. We are thrilled to share our journey, our passion for hospitality, and the bounty of our estate with you.
